Authority 016 szerkesztése (szakasz)

== FIELD DEFINITION AND SCOPE ==

:Unique numbers that have been assigned to a record by a national bibliographic agency other than the Library of Congress (Library of Congress control numbers are recorded in [http://www.loc.gov/marc/authority/ad010.html field 010]).

:The control number may also appear in field 001 (Control Number) in records distributed by the same national agency. An organization using a national bibliographic agency record may move the national bibliographic agency control number from field 001 to field 016 and use field 001 for its own system control number.

:May contain field 016 with a canceled or invalid control number of a previously-distributed record. A record may be canceled because it is a duplicate record for the same heading.
